  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • My IT skills have grown massively since starting with Laing O'Rourke, after completing different training on excel, COINS and Salesforce, I feel more confident working independently and feel like I am able to complete tasks more efficiently.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have really enjoyed the first 4 months, settling in well. Everyone is really helpful and welcoming so any questions I have, I can just ask.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • We have a good structure, attending University on a Monday and then working Tuesdsy-Friday however we are flexible to work at home through the week if that suits more. Oraganisation from the University is good, having regular meetings with work.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • University is less helpful than my employer as they don't know us very well due to only attending University one day a week however the Lecturers within University can be on hand to help if there are any questions.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
