    • Working on Software projects. Communicating with external clients and team members.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

    • I have learnt how to write in python, and continue to develop these skills with every project I work on. I have also learn more about how networks connect and the difference between different vendors.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

    • I really enjoy my program, however... there is sometimes too much pressure due to completing work tasks as well as University tasks.

    • It could be better, things change last minute with University.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

    • I receive a great deal of support from my employer. However, sometimes I worry that if I am struggling it may be considered a negative thing.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

    • Dependant on the lectures. Most of the time, the support is great.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

    • I helps with certain aspects, but in certain areas it sometimes feels as though the content may be outdated.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

    • Not overly. I we do have regular team building experiences with external teams.

    • Yes

  • 9b. Why?

    • They are an amazing place to work, full of opportunities. Really supportive.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT?

    • Be prepared, and schedule your time well. If you have the ability, try to research around the role you are applying for beforehand.
