  • 9a. Would you recommend Tarmac to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Yes I would recommend it to someone that is already qualified specific trade as they are a very good company to work for and have a lot of benefits, plus most people who worked here stay for long periods of time. However someone who is wanting an apprenticeship I personally would not advise due to being put on the wrong course and when the concern was raised was told they were going to look into it and once finished that course put onto another 4 year apprenticeship. Which then sets you back in many ways and not had any conformation on what happens with my wage from this. So I will be doing an apprenticeship for 6-7years because of it. Which is way to long.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Tarmac?
  • If your qualified already to show past jobs and experience and be confident, for people applying for apprenticeship make sure you are put on the right course and ask for a structured plan for year by year on your apprenticeship
