  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am currently working on the PMO team for a client. I execute end to end project management skills across multiple towers and work streams. My daily tasks include RAID management, status reporting, data analytics and much more. I also try to complete some university work in the evenings to stay on top of the work load.

  • Yes, I have developed my skill set through lots of training and on the job learning. I have also learnt so many new valuable skills throughout my journey and I am very grateful for the opportunities I have had. I have completed professional certifications, which I will continue to do

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy this program and I am very pleased I chose to get an university degree whilst working full time. Not only has university work help project work, but project work has helped me with some university modules. Although it was hard work, it was worth it as I have got so much valuable experience.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • O have felt very supported throughout my program and I have enjoyed having such a strong chain of support. Due to studying for a degree and working full time, it is essential that the program was well structured and organized. This helped us to meet all deadlines for both work and university.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Our employer was extremely supportive as they provided designated study days which really helped achieve the best university grades possible. We also have been assigned our own mentors who we communicate with on a daily basis. Both the HR and Apprenticeship team are very supportive and work hard to help wherever they can.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Any queries or issues with qualifications, I have been able to go straight to our employer to get any required support. Although, having said this, the University of East London do not provide much support to their students and communications can often be poor or completely lacking.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I have really enjoyed implementing university work in project work. The skills I have gained from this course are valuable in very day project work. I have completely transformed my knowledge around technology and can not wait to continue to learn and develop my skills. Many of parts of my role uses skills learnt and university

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, there are many, many, many extra curricular activities available at Accenture. There are multiple sports clubs, reading, mental health and social events. By participating in one of the clubs, you can network and get to see another side of the business, which is very rewarding after working so hard

  • Yes

  • Accenture is a lovely company that employs some amazing people. Working for Accenture has been a great learning experience for my degree and other work curial activities. I always feel supported at Accenture and I look forward to many more years within this company. I would 100% recommend this program


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Accenture?
  • A piece of advice I would give to someone looking at applying to Accenture is to understand that you will not have the "classic" university experience. You have to be prepared to work hard on your project and university work. Accenture is a very social company, so you have to ensure you have good social skills
