  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I currently work on a Networks team, implementing networking-related requests and troubleshooting incidents to find a solution to any problems.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have developed various networking-related skills, as well as those related to AWS and the Cloud. I have also been involved in some scripting tasks, which involve coding in YAML and executing these using Ansible.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thoroughly enjoy working with the colleagues that I do - they are all extremely supportive and understanding. I have learnt so much since starting the apprenticeship, and have been exposed to multiple different platforms, enabling me to find a specialty/what I enjoy.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The induction process was very thorough - I was walked through every process and was introduced to the wider team. Every member put me at ease and each offered their support - they were all willing to go above and beyond to ensure I understood the processes. Overall, a very organised programme.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I was very fortunate to be surrounded by the team I have been. Each member, and my manager/mentor especially, continues to ensure I am at ease and understand exactly what I am being asked to do. Training plans were designed to tailor my needs and goals.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I thoroughly enjoy my degree - it allows me to put the knowledge I have learnt into practice in my day-to-day role. The support I have from my employer and training provider are great - they are always willing to set up a call or offer resources where needed.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Very well - the knowledge I gain from the degree, I can put into practice in my role - this helps to consolidate everything I have learnt.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are infinite activities to take part in - like scheduling coffee events, charity/volunteer work, lots of perks when joining and various company events to attend.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Accenture offers all employees the chance to explore their passions through various projects and events. You are constantly being exposed to new technologies/ways of working, which essentially helps you to grow professionally and individually.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Accenture?
  • Take your time with the application, don't be nervous, be yourself during the interview, don't be afraid to speak up on the assessment day.
