  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role involves data input, providing updates to wider business functions, working on projects and data analysis. I attend lots of meetings and work alongside other business functions to produce data used by my department.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have learnt lots of new skills including use of packages such as Word and Excel, along with learning how to use programs such as Oracle and Lexus Nexus. I have developed my communication skills and general business knowledge.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thoroughly enjoyed the programme and enjoyed working at Cummins and really liked my colleagues and people I work with. I didn't enjoy college so much as a lot of it was online during the pandemic.

  • Work were very organised with the programme, however I did not find the college to be so organised.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I received a lot of support from my employer throughout, they were very good in giving me time to work through my college work alongside my normal workload.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • In my first year I did not have a very good tutor and I really struggled, however in the second year I had a much better tutor who was much more supportive.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think that my qualification did add to my role and my confidence, however wasn't very relative to my daily tasks.

  • I do not get involved in extra curricular activities but these are available if people are interested.
