  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role: I assist the project controls team in upcoming projects, where i get involved in meetings with internal and external stakeholders. I conduct a lot of work on excel but i have been trained in it by the organisation to be proficient in it. I work on various projects, which will include elements of creating a project management plan, schedule, look at risks and sometimes travel to different parts of the country to meet contractors. Day to day: I start with a morning meeting with my team, then i work on the tasks that i need to do for the day, talk to my collegues and have meetings throughout the day, then i will work on my apprenticehship work if i have completed all my tasks for the day.
