  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy the programme very much. Loads of hands on work and meeting loads of people who have lots of experience who are very helpful. Everyone around is always helpful and are always willing to help. All the training has been very helpful and even long sessions are presented in a way that doesn't make it boring or lose interest

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • All the trainings pretty much has a good structure and everything kind of clicks together like some of the time something you might not fully understand will make more sense in the next training. Then having hands on real world experience in-between a few lessons helps to have a better understanding of the training material.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Everyone in my team is always on hand to offer help and advise. This can be the local patch team or even the phone and internet support team. You are never left to just get on with the job on your own and you always have someone who is only a few minutes away who can even come out and assist you

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • My training provider provide us with good support. Over email and teams any issues we can contact and get support. Even when having workshops any questions we have we can ask in the group or if we want to get advise privately we can and never have to worry about asking stupid questions

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification has helped me perform better in my role by providing me with everything i need to know in my daily roles. Having training videos and materials that we can do then put to use in the real work. Learning about how the network used to work and how it works now is also useful because the network is not always up to date and knowing more information can only help me

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are many extra-curricular activities to get involved in at work. These can range some small interest groups to later group events. There a few football 5 and 7 aside teams that operate in my area and most of the activities are all listed on the workplace and local group chats that many areas have

They also offer good support for both work life and life outside of work if you have any issues. Support is everywhere

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT?
  • If you have any issues just raise them and someone will help you. Never just sit on a job or issue and think you have to work it out on your own. Everyone works as a team even though we do mostly work on our own. Take all the training you can to help advance your skills when available
