  • Fibre jointer, building and maintaining the fibre infrastructure in the telecommunications network.

  • Many - I’ve been placed on a career pathway to learn multiple new skills and advance knowledge as best as possible

  • My experience of the programme has been fantastic. My assessor was informative, and very reliable and helpful through the whole process which has landed me with a distinction.

  • Very well - the whole apprenticeship team do a fantastic job.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • Loads of support is available. I was given extra study days to catch up when needed and to revise before exams.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Again - so much support is available. Management are flexible and do as much as possible to help you through your end point assessments.

  • It helped massively in understanding more angles of the industry I work in.

  • Not really.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • I’ve had so much support, and so many opportunities thrown my way and it’s such a fair working environment. The apprenticeship has been fantastic and I’ve achieved an amazing grade while working and learning so many new skills.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT?
  • Do it - learn everything you can and don’t be afraid to get stuck in!
