  • Intern/Trainee, performing testing relating to various areas in a company's financial statements, to obtain sufficient and appropriate audit evidence that what the client is stating is true and fair.

  • my time keeping and task prioritization has significantly improved as I have had to track and monitor over 20 different tasks at once.

  • I love my programme.

  • The programme is structured around exams. There is a significant time pressure to get all the teaching content done before starting work.

  • There are lots of ways I can get support day-to-day. I have a Buddy, a flying start champion, a career coach and team members/people managers.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive a easter revision guide for each of my modules detailing good starter questions and content to start refreshing my brain on key areas before full revision starts in the summer term.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My modules are tailored to accounting therefore there is a lot of overlap between the theory content I study at university and the practical work I do.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I have had the opportunity to get connected with people in other areas at PwC however the options of ways to actually be involved in non audit projects are very limited.
