  • Doing jumpers, test toning fibres at node. General splicing, and introducing 144 and 432 cables into the nodes. Wrapping and splicing.

  • The new skills I have learned are being able to strip different types of cables. Also how to run hydras from the head end to the ODF and wrapping away fibres into the trays.

  • I enjoy every bit of the program

  • Very well organised.

  • Full support from my employer. As I have been provided training and also fuel paid for driving to training centres and back.

  • I have 9 workshops in total, each workshop are to help me with my apprenticeship and towards finishing my goal.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel it helps me to an extent, but as I am an trainee I feel it hinders me slightly as somethings in the apprenticeship is not really clear.

  • Yes professional company meetings.
