  • I looked at many different EGA's. Doing various testing and client communications on a day to day. Chasing for evidence and documents.

  • Yes. I have become familiar with BC&M methodologies and the PwC systems/

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • It was very enjoyable and having people on my course doing the same placement as me made me feel much more comfortable.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The start of the programme in my opinion was not structured well at all. many students were left clueless due to accommodation changes last minute. Training instructions were messy from the start.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot, my team was extremely helpful and gave me lots of support during my placement. PwC are very clear with there systems and have a dashboard explaining all you need to know.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Training was very difficult as we had a lot of e-learns to complete by ourselves however, all of this was necessary as placement started.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The training prepared me to learn about why we do things the way we do them. Working in different PwC programmes became easier because of it.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there were two social events. A delayed christmas party and a bowling event.

  • Yes

  • For someone who wants to get into accounting this is the real deal.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • Work hard and be smart with your choices. It's a demanding job and course so be prepared.
