I have my set accounts aligned to the London Patch and I deal with any pricing escalations and deal registrations that come through requested from our partners, to progress our opportunities and close sales.
I have certainly progressed and developed my communications skills at HPE. HPE have allowed me to develop and improve upon my confidence by pushing me out of my comfort zone by speaking to people internally and externally within my role.
I really enjoy the apprenticeship programme as it allows me gain more knowledge and techniques outside my role on the technical side and the sales percepective. I can use the techniques provided by Pareto which allows me to work more efficiently and proactively, therefore generating more opportunities.
The apprenticeship programme is very well organised and balanced alongside our role. We have monthly reviews with our skills coach and regular placeholder training sessions with our apprenticeship provider which refreshes us with techniques to use within our day job. We also have time to study and complete our coursework alongside our role and use Fridays as apprenticeship days to complete our coursework.
HPE really strive to make sure we are pushing ourselves to our best ability and pushing us to complete projects and tasks to develop within our role. HPE want all their employees to do their best and they put lots of time into our progression and development with our career .
We recieve lots of support from our skills coach from our monthly reviews and they help us understand what we should be completing in our coursework to gain the best grade. Pareto are always happy to help and support us and they respond quickly with any queries we have.
The techniques and methods we are taught from our apprenticeship training certainly help me with my day to day basis as these are professional techniques being taught, rather than methods we are creating ourselves or methods we see our colleagues use. We are also taught lots of different styles of techniques which gives us the option to use one which is most suitable for us.

The people at HPE are friendly, fun and most importantly hard working, and everyone I work with is happy to help anyone. This is so important as an apprentice and being an apprentice is all about learning and developing on the role.
Be yourself and don't worry about not being too technical as you will get the full training you need from HPE at the beginning on your onboarding process.
