I assist on HR related tasks including immigration related issues and talent management.
I have learnt plenty of new skills, such as HR practice, as well as developed my existing skills like presenting and critical thinking. I have had plenty of learning opportunities.
I really enjoy it - I've been given a range of opportunities to participate in, build connections and build the foundations of my career.
The programme is well structured - I get 20% of my week to study, so I take a Wednesday to focus on my apprenticeship content. The rest of the time, I am aligned to HR projects that align with my apprenticeship studies, to ensure I get the on the job learning.
Lots - any assistance that I require is helped with. They are very supportive.
I receive check-ins every 6 weeks with my skills coach from the provider, and they are on hand to answer any questions. All of the learning is delivered virtually.
It aligns nicely with my day-role, and teaches me the theory behind the steps that I am taking.
Inspire country coordinator - a community for improving/enhancing our work culture. I am also a part of the HPE women's network, which I find empowering.
