  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Apprenticeship not role - Unsure of the word Programme and what it relates to. My job or my course. I don't, it is really stressful, the business don't know what it takes to complete your apprenticeship but still demand the same amount of hours and output. Which I understand but when taken 20% out it makes it impossible to balance. Currently struggling with work life balance, having a young family, a child with additional needs and a lot of work to get through. I have fallen behind and now struggling to get back on track. Virgin Media put me on this course and I am thankful but since being put on it. Nobody has called me! Only once did someone from L&D reach out and that was in Apprenticeship week. My boss is a great mentor but he has fallen into the role. The business should have offered a core group of people that wish to mentor or develop others and help them. As for BPP, I feel that I am on my own, told to find Wellbeing resource and told to speak to my mentor but nobody checks in.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Really well structured but on my own. I get offers to call people but nobody reaches out to me to check in, even a personal email 'Hi, How is it going?'

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • None. Appreciate being put on this course and thank you. But just feel like I have been dropped off at school without anyone coming to pick me up. No one has contacted me since day one. My boss has been awesome but it shouldn't be their job.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • None - monthly calls that feel like telling off for being behind. But as long as you get me to do radicalisation courses they think that is enough. Wellbeing is something I have to find but radicalisation needed to be done prior to starting.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
