  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I thoroughly enjoy my programme as there is a fantastic mix of a supportive and welcoming company culture, challenging yet achievable tasks working both independently and with a team who offer support whenever needed. There are also many other opportunities through work and university supported by university like placements in different parts of the business and opportunities to develop presentation and sociability skills at apprenticeship events.

  • My programme is very well structured with two hand in dates each year for university making it easy to manage along side work. The projects are explained well with many opportunities to ask questions to the tutors in person and online anonymously so there is no need to worry about asking any question you need to

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support from my manager. He understands that I am studying at university as well and leaves enough time to complete study around work while still making sure to get the most out of me at work. He is also approachable meaning I can go to him with any questions or concerns.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I also get a lot of support from university as they understand that I am working full time along side study. The lectures always provide feedback whenever I send samples of work and point me in the right direction in order to improve upon my work. There is also a study skills department that helped me massively in order to learn things specific to university work such as referencing and academic writing and note taking

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I believe my qualification helps me to perform better in my role as I can often use techniques and skills learnt in university in my work. Also the study at university helps me to see different aspects of the industry as a whole so if I decided to leave my role at my current company later in my career I would have an understanding of the rest of the industry and some other companies approaches to design.
