  • Audit work. Stock counts, sampling/ documentation, client visits and meetings etc.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes. Greatly improved my Excel proficiency and typing speed/ words per minute. Also gained more confidence liaising directly with clients and learnt new skills in order to use PwC systems.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • It was enjoyable. A good learning experience, and well looked after in office and with accommodation, but I didn't have a huge amount of time to relax.

  • Very well organised

  • Largely received quick and useful support, but sometimes took a little while to hear back regarding queries as people were busy.

  • Normal university experience

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I learnt a lot more quickly and effectively through the full time working role, but the training provider provided a rough base of knowledge.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes. Played football with members of the office any weeks that I was available.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Good working environment, and I have learnt a lot from only ~3 months of work, but also been given responsibility/ autonomy over my own work/ decision making when necessary.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
  • Make it clear in the process that, although you have a good breadth of knowledge, you are always happy to ask questions if you have issues.
