The Virtual Work Experience consisted of a range of presentations, break out rooms with smaller groups where we were able to ask our supervisor questions, legal tasks to complete and projections to work together on.
I developed a much greater insight into what a career in law involves as well as developing an understanding of what steps to take in order to reach where I want to be in the future.
I very much enjoyed this Virtual work experience, which provided a great balance of independent and group work.
The work experience was extremely well organised, with the calendar lay out in detail for me to follow.
We learnt a lot about the company culture which really stood out to me throughout the placement, developing a great knowledge of what the company would be like to work at by speaking to a range of people with diff entry careers at Pinsent Masons.
The Virtual work Experience has driven my passion further and given me great aspiration to want to work in Law.
No I was not, the experience was also free of charge.
We were given opportunities at lunch time to network with our fellow students, but due to safeguarding we are not allowed to get in contact with anyone who works at Pinsent Masons.
Yes
The experience really provided me with a deep insight into a career in law, and many of the different aspects that come with it.
I would advise someone to try and make the most of the experience by being confident and not being afraid to put your ideas out there, answering or asking questions raised where you can.
