I work on 2 projects; Project 1 - Work on valuations, cost report, cost plans go on site walks etc Project 2 - More of a overview commercial role, overseeing the commercial side of many projects worldwide for the client

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

9/10

I have learnt so much in under 2 years, before I stared I wasnt really sure what a cost consultant did but now I am independent at work on the whole

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

9/10

I enjoy it a lot, I have great support at Mace from the Emerging Talent Team but also my individual team

4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

10/10

Very Well, there is structured training we receive a timetable for at the beginning of each academic year. They organise reviews multiple times a year

I receive full support from my employer

6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive support from LSBU, some people within the Uni more than others

I am only in my second year but I havent used much of what I do at work at uni

8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

They have communities to join and people organise lots of social activities

Yes

Because the apprenticeship programme is great, it is well structured and you have lots of support and opportunities to further your development

Understand your role best you can before applying so they know you're interested in the job
