  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I am currently enjoying my programme a lot. No 2 days are the same and you are always facing new challenges every single day. I feel that the standard of training is high and I have picked things up quickly in order to become an asset to the team. My team also made me feel welcome from the start and I have formed strong working relationships with them. They are extremely supportive and always happy to help.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Overall, the programme is very organised. When you first join, you have to complete the trust induction which gives you informaiton on various things to ensure you are safe at work. At first, it took a while to get signed onto the apprenticeship and start being set work from college. Now that I'm being set college work, I have a set day to complete any work that I am set and have review meetings with my college tutor every 3 weeks to look at the progress I have made. The organisation of the team is also good. We have team meetings 3 times a week to give information on how we are doing and if there is anything we are struggling with.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receive plenty of support from my training provider. We have regular meetings to discuss progress and I am given plenty of time to complete work. If I have not been able to complete everything due to the busy nature of the office, my tutor has been understanding and happily allowed me more time to complete the work set to me. Their general attitude is very positive and they are polite and respectful.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We have not been out on any social activities as a team due to the pandemic. We have plans to go out for a meal and have also been to the pub for drinks. I am hoping that as restrictions continue to ease, we will be able to spend more time outside of work as a team.
