  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • In my role as an Openreach Cabling Engineer I am involved in helping build the infrastructure for the Openreach Fibre network. My day to day tasks include working as part of a team to help deliver Fibre connections to businesses and homes by means of various cabling techniques. As part of the chief engineer division we are trained to be multi skilled and can also be involved in other tasks such as Fibre jointing and pole climbing.
