  • Yes new skills of splicing fibre, fitting customer service point, optical network termination box’s and relevant cabling to do with them

  • I enjoy all parts of the programme

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is ok, would benefit from a longer period of buddying as 2 weeks is not enough. Time also needs to be given to write up our portfolio over the apprentice works already part of the programme

  • It’s good but need time to write up portfolios as part of a working day. Managers need to be aware this can be given as these are currently being done in our own time rather than work tome

  • We tend to learn more on the job which is where the main skills are gained

  • Go for it , be open and honest you won’t regret it but be well presented, polite and respectful
