  • My roles includes maintaining and providing the infrastructure of Openreach and getting our customer in service with fibre broadband.

  • I have learnt both new skills and developed my existing skills whilst working at Openreach.

  • I enjoy my programme a lot as it’s very practical based learning which I find better for myself.

  • I feel the structure of the programme is very thought out and planned.

  • I receive as much support as I need from my employer. The company look after their employees.

  • I receive all the support I require when working towards my qualifications. My tutor is very keen to help and provide me with knowledge and support.

  • My training has helped and given me the skills and knowledge to provide broadband as well as deal and speak to different customer.

  • I want to say yes but COVID has limited the activities.

  • It’s a company that look after the staff. A company where we look after each other to get the job done safely.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT?
  • I would give the advice of it’s going to be hard the first couple of months but keep pushing through it because the end goal is a job for life.
