  • Supplying fibre to the premises internet to customers and fixings faults customers have with their internet

  • All the skills I have learnt are from this job, my previous job did not really contribute to what I do on a day to day basis. I didn’t have a clue about how to provide internet to customers now I have a good idea and with more training will come more confidence

  • I really enjoy my programme, there is plenty of support when I need it

  • It is well organised, however I wish they trained us on certain things before going live

  • I receive plenty of support when I need it along with other colleges

  • 100% supported throughout.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It will give me a better idea as to what is expected of me, and I may learn things I haven’t learnt on the field which can make my job day to day a lot easier/simple

  • I’m not to sure with this as I have not been in the company very long, however I think we get good benefits and incentives

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because it is a good job and well paid. I am always supported and the training is good. I never feel silly asking questions.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT?
  • This is tough as Openreach trains very well, however the only advise I would give it to research or have some knowledge what’s involved to make their training period easier
