  • I have just started with Openreach and just finished my first week, which was an induction week. So currently I cannot advise on my day to day role, however once training is completed I will be a Customer Service Engineer visiting customers to rectify Telecommunication issues.

  • 9a. Would you recommend BT to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Its a great company with a comprehensive training package. Also its nationwide and telecommunications will always be needed so a good career path. Benefits and salary are good.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT?
  • The application process is 3 stages so be yourself as I did not come from an engineering background. A lot of the initial training (12 weeks) is living away from home. The onboard processing is full on in week 1 induction.
