  • I work in audit which consists of checking clients accounts and accounting systems to ensure the information provided for the financial statements are accurate. Daily we test the information provided by client using our set methodology.

  • I have completed half of my level 3 apprenticeship and am now completing my level 4. I've picked up a lot of excel skills as well as other skills relevant to audit. I have also picked up some personal skills.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • So far the apprenticeship has been very enjoyable, I have picked up a lot of skills and there is a very large team who I get on well with.

  • The apprenticeship so far has been well structured we have had training throughout and study support.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • We have an exam training manager who helps us with any questions we have with study and get support from manager for any work related issues.

  • BPP provide catchup calls aswell as access to a lot of studying material on the website which helps a lot.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Helps my understanding of accounting which is required in audit to help understand client explanations/ workings

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are social events carried out every few months aswell as a football team and many other extra curricular activities

  • Yes

  • RSM have been a good employer, the office culture is enjoyable and they've been very supportive during the exam period.
