  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • Within my daily role I support our clients with Project Management, this mainly entails helping them keep the resource plan's of their projects up to date, helping them manage codes where people charge their time and ensuring projects remain in line with expected costs.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Before starting with Accenture I had basically no previous programming knowledge - this has been something I have really enjoyed developing with Accenture!

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my programme, with Accenture we are really treated like proper employees as apprentices - which is really great! There's also an amazing support system of all apprentices, past & present.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The structure of the programme could definitely be improved, sometimes it is not always clear to us what is going on.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I recieve a lot of support from my immediate team and line manager, they're always happy to help me wherever they can & they all want to see us achieve!

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We do receive regular support from our training provider, the only issue with this however though is currently a lot of classes are being stretched over one lecturer - this can often lead to waiting a while for support.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification unfortunately does not directly affect my role as I am working in a non-technical role. However, this qualification has allowed me to have a deeper understanding of the projects we carry out within Accenture, which I feel gives me a bonus compared to other members of my team!

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There is quite literally a social event for everyone! When we were in the office, there were always different social events and activities. Even with COVID, this has continued - there is always something going on!

  • Yes

  • I genuinely love working for Accenture first and foremost. There is an amazing culture of people within the company & it's really a pleasure to be able to work here. The benefits of working for Accenture are great & the leadership team continue to invest in the individual!


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Accenture?
  • Continue to be your true self throughout the whole process. At Accenture, we want a positive working environment & we care greatly about having genuinely nice people working for us!
