  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • the general organisation of the programme okay, but at times it can be very poor, for example: giving little to no notice about important events / work requirements, struggling with the number of apprentices they currently have and organising placements, signing off the work they make us complete as part of the course, as well as having a sub-par recruitment process at times.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • during my apprenticeship this has varied considerably, depending on the management currently employed and the placements that i was in. At times you get very little support and are just expected to know what they want from you, but it has improved under current management.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • the training provider has had some big problems in the past, giving work with very short notice and have struggled to provide appropriate tutoring at times. At the start of the HNC we were provided with a extremly poor tutor which would provide us with unclear instructions and assignments, causing us to be very behing in work. since the appointment of our previous year 2 tutor this has started to really turn around through his very hard effort and willingness to help, but we should never have been put in this situation.
