General upkeep of Excelsior Academy, anything from Changing a password to building computer suites.
So many things. I thought I knew about IT when I first started, but little did I know there was so much more to it.
The last 25% of my apprentice for me was the best part of it. I got a new coach who was very involved and made me actually enjoy doing my coursework. He really motivated me even through lockdown restrictions.
Like the above I was only really involved for the last 25% or so of my time when I switched coach. This was just down to my previous one not supporting me very well.
I get time when I need for things like exams, coursework and general studies. Only thing not making this a 10 is occasionally it was difficult to get things out of them e.g. examples of things so I could get a better understanding of a topic.
Once I had changed to my new coach this was fantastic. We would have regular catch-up sessions where we could go over topics in the syllabus or anything I was unsure about. When there was an exam coming up he would really make the time to support me for it.
Sometimes I do use some of the knowledge that I picked up through the exams/coursework to help me. The most useful so far has been coding and logic

With GK, once you get going it gets good. For me all I needed was someone to give me a little push to get going, they provided that to me with a new coach and it was smooth rolling from there.
Make sure you know clearly what course you are doing. What exams that route takes you and what support will be given to you to make sure you pass them.
