  • On a day to day basis my role involves working in the underground network. Putting cable or subduct underground following a plan for where the cable needs to go to. Rodding and roping in preparation to pull the cable/subduct in UG.

  • I have learnt new skills working with different cabling machines and setting up road works.

  • I enjoyed the training.

  • The programme is well structured giving as much time as possible between each workshop.

  • Special leave is given for NVQ days and support from others.

  • Mainly done through a virtual source. support is there when needed.

  • I would recommend BT as an employer because the training is excellent and there is a range progression opportunities.

  • Be confident and be yourself. Look at the different career options and what's available to you.
