  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I have specifically learnt a lot of computer based skills online considering a large portion on the NVQ is online work using excel, word powerpoint and having to get references from websites for evidence within our work. I have also developed better communication skills as having to do discussions in a group really helps this

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoyed the programme when I started it a year ago, the team were really helpful when needed and you got all the support you needed. I very much enjoyed using the internet to find new information and also having to scroll through our intranet to get new info

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • I think the programme is structured very well, from start to finish you know exactly what is needed to complete every unit within the nvq and if you need help there is always someone who can provide a helping hand to help you along the way. units are very well spaced out

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I received a lot of support, with a dedicated team who can help you anytime you needed it. whether this is with sending e-mails or getting responses in time to complete a unit they are always there to help when needed. not once did I feel not supported by BT when completing the NVQ.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I received plenty of support from our training provider as they regularly send out e-mails and on the odd occasion call to see how we are getting along. we can also complete a survey to see how we are getting on every few months so all information is sent back for them to review

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • the qualification doesn't help me a lot on a day to day basis in terms of additional skills learnt as I had a strong understanding of excel and word as well as using e-mails. one which does help me perform better is the focus on communication skills which has definitely helped.
