  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • A high extent, understanding how to complete the job. How fibre works and how connecting people has always intrigued me. This job is a very good job to have and the support I have is unbelievable. Everyone is extremely understanding and I can do my job at my pace with understanding from my team/ manager etc.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Extremely well organised. The company have really put time to understand the trainees needs. There has been a lot of unnecessary travelling as there are training centres closer than the one I trained at but it was a different experience and I was happy to meet a range of different people in a different area. The training is fast when out doing the job but you feel as though you have a grasp of what to do as you’re let alone

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot of support from my team (if this counts as employer) the team has worked to understand that it is difficult to get up to speed and they have supported me relentlessly. It’s a very laid back and go easy job as long as you do the work you need to do

    10/10

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • There is a lot of support with different specialised teams that will help me no issue at all, very helpful and forward thinking and supportive towards me and my other trainee colleagues. Understanding my needs and what I required to be more competent

    10/10

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It gives me a deeper understanding of what I need to do within my role and how things work. It accredits me to officially be qualified to do my work and makes me feel more confident. The qualification gives me the physical competence to complete my role and the qualification will really help me have an understanding and ask questions I am yet to understand

    10/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I ain’t too sure if there is any extra curricular activities as sports wouldn’t be allowed yet with COVID. But hopefully there are activities such as football teams to play football with colleagues
