The role consists of me booking in orders, providing quotes and answering general queries. On a normal day I will book customers orders in for the day/week, answer calls and pass them through to the relevant person. Adding lists to salesforce and providing customers with quotes
I have developed my skills over the phone more than any other. Having previously been in a customer facing role i already had some attributes but i have further devloped these.
I thoroughly enjoy the programme i am doing as there is something new every day, i get to form relationships with colleagues and customers too.
It is organised very well. I have somebody i work with who will take pressure off me by allowing me to learn in a way that suits me and any workload that is a bit too difficult for me yet will be dealt with and talked through.
I receive a lot of support. Someone is always free to talk to and get any advice off in regards to whatever i am doing. I can always pick up the phone to people if i am stuck too.
I have a monthly chat where i am talked through what is coming up for the month in terms of the learning side. Also it gives me chance to chat about how i am getting on and if i need any extra support.
It helps me because i can write down what i need to do for the month ahead and means i can plan. It also helps me to have a better understanding of what is going on.
I am not overly sure if there is currently due to covid however i have been made aware of five aside football that took place pre covid
Yes
It is a fantastic place to work. The people you work with are great and very welcoming/helpful. They are always on hand if you have any questions, allow time to learn and will go out of their way to help with whatever you need.
I would say to research the company or industry before applying just to get an understanding as it can be a bit daunting at first if you don't have any idea. Although you are helped thoroughly by colleagues- it is still sometimes hard to get your head around some things.
