I am a business strategy manager. It is my role to lead our early careers community across the UK / Ireland / Middle East & South Africa. I have many daily interactions with senior leaders and managers. My job is to create, design and set the strategy for early careers.
I am currently studying my Level 7 in senior leadership and managment with Manchester University. This is enhacing my skills to be an effective leader. I completed my level 5 in 2020.
Highly enjoying the level 7. It's taking my studies to the next level and preparing me for senior leadership roles. It's allowing me to take what i've learnt and pass that over to the early careers.
Highly structured. It's great
Lots of support - HPE is a postive company that encourages learning and development. Apprentisceships is something we take very seriously and take great pride in. We have access to managers, mentors, HR teams.
The training providers have been great. The coaches add lots of value.
As mentioned before - I have done my level 5, now onto a level 7 in leadership and management. This is greatly preparing me for my current and future roles.
Chartiy events. Networking events. Wellness Friday (the company gives you the 2nd friday of each month, half a day off paid for by HPE). We have lots of employee resource groups such as Pride, Women at HPE, Cultrual Diversity.
Yes
It's a company that cares about it's employees first. Espcially wellbeing and career development.
Be open minded. We're a tech company, but we have lots of fantastic roles that are non technical and that are great for all backgrounds, genders and experirances.
