  • Rodding, roping and cabling underground with fibre cables to business premises

  • Yes i have reignited my computer skills, learnt some new ones and refreshed my knowledge on academic studies

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • Some days I have hated it, other days havent been too bad. found some questions repetitive and tedious but it's made me push on and refresh my skills from school and college days and allowed m e to gain more knowledge on my company

  • We have been given plenty of time in which to get it completed with assisstance along the way

  • All the support that i have needed. Manager is fantastic .

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • Trainer is always on hand to help although his style of teaching hasn't always been helpful to me and hasn't made it the easiest when I have needed clarification on the questions.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I wouldn't really say it helps me in my role but it has probably made me find out more about the companies procedures such as if I have a problem, where i can report it and find help.

  • there are none of which I am aware which is a shame

  • Yes

  • I enjoy the work, i am happy in my job, I like my colleagues and managers so far


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT?
  • There is a very good group on Facebook for trainee engineers which is super helpful and will give you all the information you need in applying. I did plenty f research on the company and found forums which helped me
