Advising the business on legal matters and risks that affect the operation; negotiating contracts; handling complaints and litigation; managing people
Everyday's a school day both at work and in my personal life! I have to carry out a minimum of 16 hours of professional development each year to maintain my practicing certificate and due to the restructure of the business last year I have been given responsibility for people management, which is all new to me.
I really enjoy the programme
It's very well structured. I like using the BUD platform - it helps me keep track (even if to remind me I'm behind!). I get a lot out of the regular workshops and the catchups with my tutor
My line manager supports my participation in the program
