  • My role is Engineering Linesperson Apprentice and I am currently in college learning mechanical and electrical theory amongst many other things relevant to my industry. I will also be attending the training school where I will be introduced to working on overhead lines. When not at college I will be at my local depot for on the job training.

  • Whilst I am early in my apprenticeship I feel I have already developed my understanding of mathematics, industry legislation and mechanical theory.

  • I enjoy the program and look forward to what the future holds.

  • I feel the programme is well organised and structured despite the current COVID-19 situation.

  • I am very well supported by my employer.

  • My training provider gives me plenty of support and is always available if I have any questions.

  • I feel that this gives me a better understanding of my environment and what will be required of me as part of my role.

  • Normally, yes, however COVID-19 has affected this.
