  • I am an apprentice. This involves day to day activities that allow me to learn about engineering through working with skilled operators. My progress is measured by my NVQ.

  • Yes. I have learnt a lot about engineering and skills that will last me my whole working life.

  • I really enjoy my programme as I feel I am always learning and developing my skills.

  • It is quite well structured over the whole programme. It is split evenly over the four years which allows for easy management of my time.

  • I receive as much help as I require which is good. They are happy to help as wells as leaving you to it so you learn.

  • Again, as much as I require.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I feel the skills I learn in my qualifivations help me fairly well in my work as it gives me a technical understanding and allows me to better understand how different products work.

  • Yes there are many extra curricular activities. We are encouraged to sign up to as many as possible.

  • It is a good opportunity for a young person. This is because it allows you to learn new skills and gives you a good start in your working life.
