  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I usually enjoy my daily role as an apprentice, as I am given a verity of work. I did not enjoy college so much, as I found it very difficult. Anoher aspect that I have not enjoyed is the times that there has been little to no work to do in my placements, as this has been de-motivating.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Not very, although I was given a good plan of which areas of the business i would look at and when, we did the incorrect college course for a few months and when we did the right one there were not enough teachers. For this reason, my apprenticeship has been extended by a year.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I recieve a good amount of support from my employer, as they are always happy if I wish to go elseware to do STEM/ events or need to take some time out of my daily role while at work in order to complete some college work that is due in soon.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I receve a fair amount of support from my training provider, but they appear to be under staffed and can often take an extremly long time to get back to any questions that I have, even after being chased a few times. That said, the teaching was good and usefull.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I do not feel like the qualifications that I gained at college have helped me to do any better at work, as the skills that I have learned at college are not skills that I use when I am at work. For example, we learned machning at college but have no machiney at work.
