My role is in performance engineering and entails assisting the team in analyzing database system hardware and tuning SQL code to improve system performance. I also assist with writing the documentation around this and join calls to provide updates.
I have developed skills within programming and debugging in both University and work. I also have gained confidence in verbal communication while improving my communication skills. There are many more skills gained to mention but overall you will gain a diversified skill set working at Accenture.
The program is enjoyable as at work you have a supportive team which will help guide and support your through your journey and understand the Accenture culture which can be complex when you first join.
The program is very well organised with an induction week to get you started and update calls from leadership to help guide and answer any questions you have. The training provided inside Accenture is beneficial too as you can apply and gain certifications from external vendors.
In Accenture you receive a lot of support from your career counselor which will help guide you and support you with the best practices to achieve your goals. Inside Accenture you need to be proactive and reach out to people to receive the best support. There are also talent fulfillment specialist which will support you to find a role you desire as well as people advisors to meet your HR questions.
In Accenture you receive support at university through each respective module leader and the program lead which will listen to the whole apprentice intakes needs. There is support for learning inside Accenture too where you can apply for extra external qualifications.
Most of the learning on the course can be used inside work in some way and helps you think logically therefore allowing you to perform your role better.
At Accenture there are numerous extra curricular activities from social activities at your client like football or going out for a work meal, to internal activities that include brown bags where you can learn specialized knowledge from others. Accenture offer charity days to take off work too so you can support your philanthropic needs.

I would recommend Accenture as the company offers a wide range of technologies you can gain experience with while gaining a degree qualification and 3 years of work experience in a company that is on the fortune 500 global list.
When joining Accenture use your career counselor and resources you are given to get your questions answered as these will be your main guidance internally. When on a project ensure to make use of the people with experience and ask questions to learn. Lastly be proactive and start setting a career path for your future so you know where you want to be.
