  • I care for residents with dementia and look after them from getting up, washed and dressed to ensuring that they receive and eat their meals and drinks throughout the day. I participate in activities to keep them engaged throughout their day.

  • I had never worked in the care sector before my apprenticeship. It has been an excellent course

  • I enjoyed it immensely and found it to be an essential tool to my learning Experience.

  • Very good. Plenty of help and advice along the way.

  • The course has given me an in-depth understanding of my role which has enabled me to improve on a daily basis.

  • There a trips out to local venues such as Tea Dances and pub lunches.
