My role is to help and learn from the electricians from the processes that they are doing.
I have learnt skills such as how to bend different types of cable when installing them and developed skills using my hands.
I throughly enjoy the apprenticeship programme.
My programme is very well organised with communication between my employer and the college I attend.
I am very well supported by my employer as I know who to contact if I have any problems that I am struggling to overcome.
A lot of support is received from the training provider as they keep in regular contact and they are helping me work towards getting my qualifications.
It gives me a wider understanding of the processes that I am doing and why it has to be carried out in that way.
