  • my job role as an apprentice tool maker is different every day and is very varied. From standard routine TMS tool services, to fixing line breakdowns. No one day is the same I can involve skills such as welding, machining on lathes, milling and CNC machines, grinding, drilling, marking out. These are some of the basic skill that we use every day.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I greatly enjoy the apprenticeship that I am undertaking, I really like the variety of the day to day jobs and the college work can be challenging however it is rewarding. One of the best thing about the apprenticeship is that you are able to meet many different people, and you feel part of a proper team where you can benefit from the knowledge that others have around you.
