  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • The first year of the apprenticeship consists of mostly college work. This involves learning and developing new skills as well as studying the theory that goes alongside the practical work. In the second year I start working towards my degree and am at university once a week. Whilst at work I do vary placements in different areas of the business.

  • 9a. Would you recommend BMW Group to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • It is a no-brainer over alternative options. You get the benefits of both university and having a job without the drawbacks. The support we are provided by the company is great and they really care about helping us get through the course and ensuring that we get as much out of it as possible.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BMW Group?
  • You need to make sure that this is something you want to do. It is a brilliant apprenticeship but it is also very competitive and if you want to be considered for a place on teh course you need that something that shows the company that you are serious about the course and that you are interested in what it involves.
