Junior Front End Developer Review

Building new web pages, updating existing web page, helping to build new tools to use throughout business merchandising and assisting with marketing across the website.

I have learned new skills - not just new languages, frameworks and libraries but also putting my existing knowledge from the course into real life practice.

The programme is well structured and I am lucky that my employer has been very supportive with finding me opportunities within my apprenticeship. The course itself before the workplace placement started was less structured as it was more practical, hands on.

Our contact from the training provider is really helpful and gives us all the information we need to be able to work through the qualification, with regular meetings/catch-ups.

I feel that the final project will be a massive help in my employment life as it puts together everything that we have learned. Some of the exams were a little outdated so didn't really help in employment but were good in giving an overview in general.

Yes lots - we have tech talks which are interesting and fun, as well as good opportunities for networking. We do team activities too.
