I work in a project management team overseeing all financial aspects of work for one client specifically. This consists of managing files using calculations and formulas to gather costs and expenses used on a monthly basis.
Yes as i am now more familiar with using certain formulas and my knowledge around excel has gown massively since starting in this role.
I enjoy the work i am doing on a day to day basis and it also fits into with what i am studying at university as some of the modules have helped with my day to day job.
Some aspects of the programme could be delivered better such as some of the time spent at university inst utilized due the standard of some lectures. Sometimes i think the contact between the the workplace and the university could be better.
I feel that if i need some support from the employer, it is always welcomed. I have had many cases of needing an extra hand with things but i feel it is always at hand if needed.
The support from the training provider is quite good as well. Especially when studying from home currently, the tutors are there for conference calls and screen sharing activities if need be.
Although there are many different avenues to go down when it comes to roles at Accenture, the course im studying gives you a good overall grounding to each area meaning you get a better overall understanding of how the business is ran.
Yes there are activities on a day to day basis such as yoga, football matches, chess clubs, gym classes and lots more to get involved in. There is also a designated team to go to if you are looking to host one of these activites.
Yes
At Accenture there is so much opportunity for an employee and it gives you the chance to express yourself in whatever interests you. There is a great sense of community within the workplace which is always good as it doesn't really feel like a job when going to work.
I would advise just to be yourself. I feel like valuing the individual is more important to accenture than the skills that go with the person.
