  • Infrastructure engineer with a merge into the cloud team. Day to day domain management, VMware work, Citrix, AWS, Patching, Server builds.

  • Yes, near enough all my knowledge was learnt on the job. Some developed existing skills, however ICT at college is completely different from the industry.

  • I fully enjoy this programme, wouldn't change a great deal about it.

  • Very clear and organized, very little is left up in the air, regarding assignments and apprentice standard work.

  • Couldn't ask for more support, with extra training and dedicated time to complete assignments.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The training provider is the university so its not really the same as a usual apprenticeship.

  • Somewhat, however peoples jobs are very specific and the course can be quite vague.

  • yes, tons of things like this to get involved with.

  • Yes

  • Good company to work for, going in the right direction, are up to date with technologies used and working strategies.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to CDL?
  • Work hard, study and try and do some extra learning on top of that.
