    • Workin with a fitter to manufacture aircraft and one day release for college to complete a BTEC qualification

    • Yes I’d never worked in manufacturing or engineering so I’ve learnt a lot of new skills

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

    • I’ve met some good friends during this programme, I enjoy the work I do and the the skills I’ve learnt

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?

    • Excellent in parts but communications could be a little better

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

    • A lot of support from tutors and assessors. Meetings with early career managers could be beneficial

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

    • Enough support to explain the qualifications and what jobs to look for. The work is entirely my responsibility though which means I am learning more effectively

    • The qualification is teaching me essential skills about my role and how I conduct myself out of work

    • There is extracurricular events, however, I have a busy out of work life and don’t get time to attend them.

    • Yes

    • Great company to work for and they commit a lot to you for you to take a lot out of it

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Airbus?

    • Think critically about everything, make sure you try hard and try doin everythin you do to a high standard
