  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • My role is an Onboarding coordinator and I help with contractors setting up limited companies. I make sure they have everything from PAYE, VAT and business banking and I set them up with an accountant.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes, I have earned my English and Maths qualification and I have learnt more about my company and the effect I have on things like brand reputation, customer satisfaction and overall how and what my company focuses and values are.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy learning on a whole so learning about the place I spend 8 hours a day 5 days a week in was beneficial as it makes me appreciate the reason I am here and knowing how I impact the business.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • There was a hiccup with the new system Bud as this was something new to my trainer also however he took it in his stride and remained professional during the learning curve.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I was allowed time to complete any assignment and for my meetings so they have been really supportive.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I received a great deal from my training provider, my trainer was always on hand via email or phone if I ever needed anything.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • it has helped a great deal as I understand how it all fits together and how each department fits together. It has helped me communicate with my colleagues better.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Not currently that I am aware of.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Optionis to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • It has been a real enjoyable experience, everyone I have met has been really friendly and approachable and I have not once worried about getting through this course.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Optionis?
  • Go for it, you wont be disappointed.
