    • I am a health care assistant in a dementia care home I help to provide good quality care to the residents and assist them with daily tasks such as personal care and feeding

    • I learned how to communicate better and overcome barriers of communication. I also learned how to identify signs and symptoms of abuse

    • Meeting with my assessor, she always encouraged me and made sure I was on target with my qualification

    • Very well structured I understand what I needed to do and had regular contact with my assessor

    • My employer was good and allowed me to see my assessor during work hours

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

    • My assessor was Brilliant she supported me on the phone and email if I ever needed help between visits, she also made sure we met at least once a month to discuss and go through any work outstanding

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

    • The training company paragon was fantastic they encouraged me to complete my qualification and offered support throughout.. if I was to do another qualification I would definitely use paragon

    • Yes

    • They are amazing very supportive and nothing is too much for them. My assessor was very knowledgeable and understood my job role

    • Go for it!!! Its the best thing you could do
